So I am not alone.... by Tammy S. at InsiderPages
I had dental work done by Gentle Dentistry, Gentle being the key word here. It was not gentle and definitely not done to the standard of care that I feel it should have been done. After reading a posting by another unhappy consumer of Gentle Dentistry, I felt the need to write one of my own. I want to start out by saying all the tv's and music they play for you is because you spend hours sitting in a chair waiting for the Dr. to get done seeing other patients or back from his lunch. But please.don't be human and run 5 minutes late because if you are, the staff blames it on you and then tells you sorry he has already left for lunch, reschedule.I told them no, I will be seen by a dentist today before I leave here. When I was finally seen, I was told by Dr. Glassbrenner that I cant just pick and choose who I want to see. Since when??? That was just the beginning. This particular dentist left bruises under my chin from holding so hard. He left me sitting in a chair for almost an hour and a half to let the Novocaine take effect then had to give me more Novocaine because it had begun to wear off. He left decay in a tooth and covered it w a filling, On another tooth, he removed an old silver filling and left part of the silver in the tooth and then covered it up w an on-lay/inlay. This same dentist drilled down between two teeth and ruined a good tooth, left it with drill marks in it and then called it good. I also went back several times complaining of pain, not being able to floss or chew on that side of my mouth for WEEKS and eventually months. When I went back 2 different times. I was told I had major dental surgery and needed to give my mouth time to heal. Just how long does it take to heal? I was told several months. I accepted it. When I had a filling fall out that Gentle Dentistry filled TWICE, I went to a better dentist, in fact an Excellent Dentist that help
